For anyone who needs more space: private individuals, companies, associations, clubs and everyone else. You can flexibly rent a storage room at placeB for as long as you want.

You need a smartphone with an internet connection. To enter the building, you need mobile data on your smartphone, as our Wi-Fi only works inside the building. With the free placeB app, your smartphone becomes your digital key for accessing the building and your box.

This is your personal self-storage unit, clean, secure, accessible via app. Available in various sizes (1 to 50 m³).

Our storage boxes are available in different sizes from 1 to 50 m³, depending on the location.

Prices vary depending on location, size and rental period. Our smallest placeB box (1m³) is available from CHF 40 per month, depending on the location.

If you already have a user account, you can book a new box directly in the placeB app. (see “Add new box”)

Are you new to placeB? Then book your box on our website: Select your region, location and box size and click on “Book now”. After booking, download the placeB app to your smartphone to open your box.

Immediately after booking online or from the selected start date, you will receive access to the placeB app.

Internet connection:

To open your box, you need an active internet connection and mobile data on your cell phone. You need mobile data to enter the building; our Wi-Fi is only available once you have entered the building. Access will not work without internet. Please plan for this before your visit.

Emergency opening:

There is a white cord hanging behind the lock on your box. Pull it if you accidentally lock yourself in without your cell phone. Make sure that the cord remains free, otherwise the lock will jam the next time you open it.

Tip: Sometimes our storage room doors have days when they don't feel like springing open. In this case, it helps to give the opening command several times and pull lightly on the top of the door as soon as you hear the opening sound.

All locations have a main entrance that you can open around the clock with the placeB app. You can find all the important details in the app under “My boxes” -> “Location info”. You can unlock the doors directly under “Access”.

At LeihBOX you can rent plastic moving boxes that are reusable, space-saving and environmentally friendly. At some placeB locations, there are even rental box kits that you can pick up directly on site.
